A 2011 Sundance Film Festival Premiere, Miss Representation is written and directed by Jennifer Siebel Newsom and exposes how mainstream media contribute to the under-representation of women in positions of power and influence in America.

We will be screening Miss Representation in the TLC building’s Student Lounge. The film begins at 6:30pm, and we would appreciate it if you arrived 15 minutes prior. After the 60-minute screening, there will be a debrief to deepen our learning. Light refreshments of tea, decaf coffee and cookies will be provided.
