Scholarships & Bursaries
We offer a variety of scholarship and bursary programs to help with tuition and educational expenses.
Scholarships
Entrance scholarships are awarded to students in recognition of their academic history, involvement in school activities and personal character. You can discuss your child’s eligibility for scholarships when you apply. Scholarships are applied toward tuition fees and may be renewed annually, subject to continued academic achievement and contribution to the school community. Queen Margaret’s School does not offer full scholarships.
QMS Heritage Scholarship
(Current & New Students)
The QMS Heritage Scholarship may be bestowed on a current or new student whose family member from a different generation attended QMS for more than one year. Deadline for application is May 31 of each year.
QMS House Scholarships
(Current Students Only)
The QMS House Scholarship is awarded to students who represent a commitment to House values: Service to Others (St. Hugh’s), Find Beauty in all Pursuits (St. Gabriel’s), and Facing Life with Courage (St. Michael’s). Deadline for application is May 31 of each year.
QMS Young Riders Scholarships
(New Students)
Queen Margaret’s School encourages students to explore equestrian sports. Entry-level riders may apply for this financial award. Rolling deadline.
Team QMS Scholarships
(New Students)
We invite students who are high-performance riders and new to QMS to apply for the Team QMS Scholarship. Rolling deadline.

Tuition Payment Plans
We provide affordable and convenient payment options to help families manage tuition costs. Our Tuition Payment Plan allows North American families to pay annual expenses in ten interest-free instalments, with a monthly administration fee of $35 per family.
Bursaries
We recognize that tuition fees and other expenses can stretch a family’s budget. Our Financial Assistance Program helps families bridge the gap between tuition costs and financial resources. QMS Bursaries are awarded on the basis of financial need, rather than academic standing.
Families who qualify may receive up to 40% of tuition as a bursary. Qualification takes into consideration a family’s income and expenses during a confidential review process. Financial Assistance Program application forms are available through our Admissions Office.
