STARS Rising

“We are so proud to share the outstanding success of our students at the STAR Festival West this past weekend at UBC!

All participating students received either Proficient or Advanced ribbons in their performance categories — an incredible accomplishment that reflects their dedication, courage, and artistry.

We are especially thrilled to celebrate three perfect scores awarded at the festival:

• Ashira J. (‘29) & Saoirse Mc.(‘28) — Musical Theatre Duet
• Zeyphyr M. (‘30) — Contrasting Monologues

In addition, Ashira and Saoirse’s Musical Theatre duet was selected to be performed at the festival’s Opening Ceremonies — an exceptional honour, as only 5 performances were chosen out of over 270 performers attending the festival.

The students represented our school with professionalism, creativity, and heart throughout the festival workshops and performances. Beyond the awards, it was wonderful to watch them support one another, take artistic risks, and grow as performers.
