Sharing Lunar New Year Celebrations

Once a year around Lunar New Year, M’akola Housing Society invites our students to share a special performance with their elders, and this marked our third year participating in this meaningful tradition.

Heidi H. (’27) graciously served as host and beautifully showcased her talent as a calligrapher. She was joined by several fellow boarding students who shared their gifts in violin, piano, singing, drawing and calligraphy.

The room was filled with smiles as elders enjoyed the variety of performances. Our students put heart and care into every piece, creating moments of connection through music and art.

Experiences like this remind us that learning extends far beyond the classroom. We are so proud of our students for sharing their talents, building community, and helping make the celebration truly special.
