QMS Ski History Made

In their inaugural season, the QMS Ski Team has qualified for the BC Championships.

In Race Series #3, Shiloh B. (’28) delivered his best result of the season with a 6th place finish. Billy M. (’27) placed 9th, qualifying individually for Provincials, followed by Tiller B. (’28) in 16th. Bernard W. (’27) secured the final team points, helping the Royals finish 4th overall out of 73 racers, just one point behind Oak Bay’s 16-racer team. With one podium team opting not to attend, QMS has earned the call-up to Provincials.

Charlotte P-L. (’28) had a strong day of racing, placing 12th in a field of 54 racers. The program looks forward to building a full girls team next season.

With snow conditions declining on Mt. Washington, the BC Provincials have been moved to Smithers, BC. The Royals will compete in Giant Slalom and Terrain GS from March 2–4, 2026.

“I am proud of how our team worked with the coaches from Mt. Washington, taking their feedback and applying it to their race runs,” shares Coach Robson. “It was not a great season to be training on Vancouver Island but this crew of students stayed positive and kept the stoke high.”

Stay tuned for Provincials results!
