Legion Awards Honour Creativity

QMS students have once again demonstrated their creativity and respect for Canada’s Veterans through the National Youth Remembrance Contests, organized by the Legion National Foundation in partnership with The Royal Canadian Legion and schools across the country. These contests encourage students to explore Remembrance through visual art, writing, and video.

We are proud to celebrate the achievements of our students awarded by Cowichan Legion Branch #53:

At the South Vancouver Island Zone, Madeleine V. and Aya H. were recognized for their outstanding work, with Aya moving on to the provincial level.

These achievements reflect the dedication of our students to remembering and honouring our Veterans, while expressing themselves through art and writing.
