Getting into Nature

Last Thursday, Grade 5 and 6 students headed to Camp Creina for their annual campout, enjoying a memorable outdoor learning experience in perfect weather conditions.

Throughout the camp, students developed a range of practical skills including archery, carving, crafting, and wilderness knowledge. A highlight of the trip was the energetic ecological wide game, Predator and Prey, which had students engaged and active across the camp.

The evening was filled with entertainment around the camp “fire,” where students shared in the spirit of community and fun after full days of adventure and learning.

A special thank you goes to Sarah in the kitchen, Christine Andrews, our Quartermaster, and the dozen parent volunteers who worked tirelessly to prepare and serve delicious meals throughout the camp. Their support ensured everyone was well-fed and ready for each day’s activities.

It was a fantastic camp experience that combined outdoor education, teamwork, and plenty of memorable moments for all involved.
