On April 10, the QMS community came together to honour the spirit of our founders, Miss Denny and Miss Geoghegan.
Through thoughtful and engaging speeches from this year’s Prefect Council, school leadership, and School Archivist Carey Pallister, we reflected on the legacy that continues to shape QMS today, including a fascinating look at the evolution of the school uniform since 1921.
On this special day, we also proudly gathered our Heritage Students for the annual photo, celebrating the lasting connection between families and a QMS education. This year, 60 students from Kindergarten through Grade 12 wear their Heritage pin with pride, each representing a family legacy that continues to grow within our school community.
We were especially honoured to welcome back Alumni Charles Hill (1951–1953), visiting campus for the first time since his student days. Charles shared his intention to return for every Founders’ Day moving forward—a meaningful reminder of the enduring connection our alumni have to this place. Thank you, Charles.
All alumni are always welcome home at QMS.
