Choose Your Challenge Award Winner

At the Senior School Year-End Assembly, we proudly announced the inaugural recipient of the QMS Choose Your Challenge Award: Aitana T-S. (’29)!

Established in May 2026, this special award celebrates students who step beyond their comfort zones, embrace new challenges, and continue to grow as individuals. Through a powerful 2–3 minute video submission, Aitana shared her journey of courage, curiosity, and personal growth, earning this year’s recognition

The Choose Your Challenge Award brings QMS values to life by celebrating the bravery it takes to try something new, while encouraging a culture of kindness, support, and inspiration within our community. Open to students in Grades 8–11, the award recognizes those who demonstrate a willingness to challenge themselves and learn through the experience.

Inspired by Senior School teacher Kimberley Chapman’s own journey of taking up running despite the challenges it presented, this award is a reminder that growth often begins when we are willing to take the first step.
