DISCOVER a School that Inspires Equestrian Athletes

At Queen Margaret's School, your child will develop confidence in the stables, the saddle, and in the classroom. Our faculty and staff recognize the commitment of highly ambition athletes and performers. We work with our students to balance their demanding external athletic or performance schedules with their academic life.

  • Students can ride within their weekly school timetable, earn credits toward graduation and work through their Equestrian Canada rider levels.
  • Students can bring their horse or ride one of many school horses.
  • Coaches and trainers are certified in Hunter/Jumper disciplines.
  • Our riders' goals and competition schedules are supported by their teachers, coaches and staff.
  • On-campus riding facilities allow riders to balance riding and academics, athletics, the arts, service and leadership opportunities.
  • Students may wear riding breeches to class as part of their weekly uniform.
  • To meet the demand of a diverse equestrian focused community, our Senior School academic program offers an exciting range of equestrian related courses each year, including topics such as horse training, animal husbandry, and pre-veterinary exploration. Click here for a full list of courses.
  • We are proud to introduce our signature program of Equine Facilitated Leadership Development  as part of our core educational programming for students in Preschool-Grade 12
