Grand Opening and Dedication of
KARIN QUINN HALL
Today was the first day Queen Margaret’s Junior students experienced lunch in their new cafeteria. On Tuesday, this newest campus building was dedicated as “KARIN QUINN HALL” by donor and Board Member, Des Quinn and daughter Megan. All 315 QMS students assisted in the ribbon cutting joined by family, friends, staff, parents and guests. A reception followed in the bright and airy new building.
During the opening ceremonies, Mr. Quinn shared the story of his late wife Karin and dedicated the new building in her memory. Karin Quinn (Friedrich) was both a dedicated QMS parent and champion of women and children’s rights. Mr. Quinn’s donation to Queen Margaret’s School is the most significant in the schools near 90 year history.
The new half million dollar building will host major school events as well as being used daily by more than 160 QMS Junior School Students.
