Academic Programs
Queen Margaret's School programs include a co-ed Junior School (Preschool - Grade 7) and an All Girls' Senior School (Grade 8-12) as well as All Girl’s Boarding with 5 & 7 Day boarding options. The school offers a comprehensive scholastic and extracurricular program providing opportunities for achievement and personal growth through sports, visual and performing arts, information technology and riding. The school emphasizes a balance of academic subjects with athletics, clubs and community service and keeps classes small, providing continual occasions to nurture and challenge each student. Approximately 100 girls from Grades 7 to 12 live in the residence on campus, while another 215 attend as day students from the surrounding communities. Live-in housemothers cultivate scholastic focus in a spirit of caring, independence and respectful living. Weekend excursions and activities provide healthy recreation and relaxation.
